Thermal treatment effect on BAC-Al in 3D printed bismuth/erbium co-doped optical fibre

Abstract

The thermal treatment effect on bismuth active center associated with aluminum (BACAl) has been investigated. The results indicate that thermal treatment leads to significant degradation of BAC-Al in 3D printed bismuth/erbium co-doped optical fibre.
