Abstract

We have demonstrated a bidirectional wavelength-tunable mode-locked fiber laser. The wavelength can be continuously tuned from 1567.3 to 1561.21 nm in the clockwise direction and from 1567.25 to 1561.19 nm in the counter-clockwise direction.
