Abstract

We experimentally obtained mid-infrared sources having instantaneous-bandwidth covering 2.8-3.9 μm from DFGs based on two cascaded PPLN crystals. Numerical simulations show that by cascading more crystals, light sources covering 2.5-5 μm could be obtained.
