Quantum Communication using Integrated Silicon Photonics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

Silicon photonic microring resonators have made major recent improvements in high-quality entangled photon pair photon generation, with CAR > 19,000 and g2(0) < 0.006. They are now being used in prototypical quantum communication links.
