Lithium Niobate Nanophotonics for Ultra-fast Optoelectronics

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We demonstrate a nanophotonic lithium niobate platform that simultaneously features sub-wavelength optical confinement, ultralow optical propagation loss and ultra-fast electro-optic control capability (> 100 GHz). These devices are promising for future chip-scale ultra-fast optoelectronic interface.
