Anomalous Spectral Broadening in High Quality-Factor, 1- GHz Mode-locked Oscillator using Yb:CALGO crystal

Abstract

An Yb:CALGO Kerr-lens mode-locked oscillator at 1-GHz repetition rate was developed. We found an anomalous spectral broadening at a high pumping-power condition, which lead to a pulse duration of 22 fs.
