Abstract
We report here a high-power 1.5 μm gas Raman laser source using a methane-filled hollow-core fiber. The maximum average power is ~830 mW, which is about 20 times as much as the similar experiment reported. The maximum laser slope efficiency is ~48.9 %, corresponding to a quantum efficiency of about 62 %.
