Abstract

An Erbium-doped fiber-based, optical DPB pumping broadband superfluorescent fiber source is proposed and demonstrated. By using temperature compensation, the mean wavelength stability of SFS is as small as 0.67 ppm/°C over the temperature range of −26 to 65°C. The output power, 3 dB bandwidth are 9 dBm and 16.5 nm, respectively
