Abstract
We experimentally and numerically investigated Kerr comb generation under a weak dispersion regime in high-quality (Q) factor silica toroid microresonators. Higher-order dispersion dominates the Kerr comb at near zero dispersion wavelengths and potentially provides broadband frequency conversion from visible to near-infrared wavelengths.
