Plasmon hybridization in plasmonic dimer-on-film nanocavity for photoluminescence enhancement

Abstract

We demonstrate a plasmonic nanoparticle-dimer-on-film nanocavity with plasmon hybridization-induced quality factor improvement, which exhibits ~200 times photoluminescence intensity enhancement and ~4.6 times linewidth reduction.
