Timing Jitter of High Repetition Rate Mode-locked Fiber Lasers

Abstract

We characterized the timing jitter of two 880 MHz Yb-doped mode-locked fiber lasers using the optical cross-correlation technique. The lowest residual timing jitter is 3.5 fs rms (integrated from 5MHz to 100 kHz).
