Stable and Synchronized Time-lens Source for Real-Time Characterization of Noise-Like Pulses

Abstract

Stable and synchronized reference pulses are generated from a time-lens source, triggered by noise-like pulses in a mode-locked fiber laser. This represents an essential step towards singleshot measurement of temporal details inside the noise-like pulses.
