Performance improvement of ACO-OFDM system using OCT precoding combined with digital peak-clipping

Abstract

Orthogonal circulant matrix transform precoding (OCT) combined with peak-clipping based PAPR reduction technique is firstly proposed for ACO-OFDM system and experimentally demonstrated in an IM/DD system with a cost-efficient directly modulated laser.
