Temperature-insensitive Waveguide Sensor Based on Vernier-effect

Abstract

We proposed a temperature-insensitive sensor using cascaded microring resonator and Mach-Zehnder Interferometer (MZI) filter. Temperature sensitivity of the sensor was less than 29 pm/K in a temperature range from 20 °C to 40 °C.
