Chaos communication using chaos synchronization of monolithic silicon micro-cavities

Abstract

We propose a long distance optics encryption system using silicon optomechanical (OM) micro-chips. Based on chaos synchronization between two slave OM micro-cavities, two 50 Mb/s messages oppositely transmitted and effectively decrypted over 500 km.
