Abstract

We demonstrate the high resolution beam steering of a highly dispersive VCSEL-based amplifier. By using p-type GaAs substrate, the uniform current injection was carried out for 1mm long device and we obtained the maximum deflection angle of 33° and a beam divergence angle of 0.08° resulting in resolution points of over 300.
