Composite bow-tie nano-antenna

Abstract

This paper analyzes a multilayered bowtie nanoantenna, consisting of alternate layers of silica (SiO2) and gold (Au). We show that the multi-layered structure can produce six times higher relative electric field enhancements than a purely gold bowtie antenna.
