Three-Dimensional Plasmonic Ruler Based on Silver Metal Blocks

Abstract

We introduce a three-dimensional plasmonic ruler based on silver metal double nano-blocks. Two resonant modes shows different wavelength dependences on x- or y-directional shift of blocks, which enables the measurement of spatial position with nanometer resolutions.
