Nanoparticle Synthesis by Femtosecond Laser Ablation in Liquid

Abstract

High efficient synthesis of nanoparticles with a diameter below the diffraction limit of laser light was demonstrated by femtosecond double-pulse ablation in liquid. Nano-diamond was also synthesized from carbonized bagasse using this technique.
