THz Near-Field Distribution of Fractal Antenna

Abstract

We evaluate the field distribution on the fractal antenna structure fabricated on the silicon substrate by using the terahertz (THz) near-field microscope. We could observe the frequency dependent field enhancement not only near the gap but also the periphery of the antenna from the spatiotemporal evolution of the single cycle THz pulse transmitted through the fractal antenna.
