Saturable Absorption in Multiple Sheets of Monolayer Graphene for Optical Switching

Abstract

Optical saturable absorption in multiple sheets of monolayer graphene was investigated for pico-second optical switching application. Saturable absorption for a 1.56μm femto-second laser was measured in graphene which was vertically placed between optical fibers.
