Mode-locked Nd:LGS Laser with Femtosecond Pulse Duration

Abstract

A mode-locked Nd3+:LGS laser of running with femtosecond pulse was demonstrated. By using SF10 prism pair for dispersion compensation, 278 fs transform-limited pulse trains at the central wavelength of 1084 nm have been obtained.
