Constant-phase scanning heterodyne interferometer

Abstract

A constant-phase scanning heterodyne interferometer scheme is introduced. The phase difference between the probe beam and reference beam is locked at the constant value by using a feedback control loop, by which nonlinearity and π-ambiguity of the phase measurements are minimized.
