Abstract

Nearly transform-limited pulses with a temporal width of 744 fs were produced by compensating up to fourth order chirp in a supercontinuum lightwave by employing a tunable optical dispersion compensator based on liquid crystal on silicon and two arrayed-waveguide gratings.
