Simultaneous measurement of electronic and vibrational dynamics using a few-cycle pulse laser

Abstract

Using 6.3fs pulse laser, both spectral change in the electronic absorption spectrum and instantaneous vibrational frequency could be observed by real-time vibrational spectroscopy. Ultrafast geometrical relaxation taking place in 60-100fs could be clarified.
