Optical Properties of Yb3+-doped Sr3Gd2(BO3)4 Crystal

Abstract

Yb3+:Sr3Gd3(BO3)4 crystal has been grown by Czochralski method. The spectroscopic characterizations of the crystal have been investigated. The laser performance parameters were calculated. The results show the possible application as solid state laser materials.
