Supercontinuum generation in air-silica photonic nanowires

Abstract

Based on a kind of air-silica photonic nanowires with large dispersion and high nonlinearity, we numerically investigate supercontinuum generation. Such nanowires can achieve the bandwidth of more than 800 nm in about 4.6-mm length.
