Abstract

Ba₂MgSi₂O₇:xCe³, yTb³⁺ was synthesized by solid-state-reaction and X-ray powder diffraction analysis confirmed the formation of it. It has five emission bands peaking at 390nm, 480nm, 545nm, 585nm and 615nm. White-light-emitting was obtained by mixing the five emissions.
