Terahertz Transmittance in Bilayer Graphene Nanoribbons

Abstract

The optical transmittance of bilayer graphene nanoribbons in the terahertz regime has been calculated. Terahertz active bilayer ribbons are almost completely opaque as opposed to graphene sheets which are almost completely transparent.
