Abstract

Degenerate four-wave-mixing technique was utilized to enhance the molecular vibration of a dye doped 1-propanol glass at 10 K. The amplitude of the vibration was the strongest when the delay between the two femtosecond pulses was set at ~50 fs which is equivalent to a quarter of the vibrational period.
