Abstract

We present low-power, femtosecond laser machining on vertically aligned array of carbon nanotube (CNT) films synthesized by two different growth techniques. Arrays of holes can be efficiently fabricated for a possible application as CNT based metamaterials, showing completely different features for the two samples.
