High-resolution Spectroscopy using Phase Modulation of Frequency Comb Light

Abstract

A phase modulation of frequency comb light has been applied to measure a fine spectral line of H13C14N gas at 1.5 µm wavelength range with optical heterodyne-detection method. The measurement range successfully covered 25 GHz with a spectral resolution of 1 MHz.
