Angle-Dependence of Nano-Slit Optical Transmission

Abstract

A fully-analytic angle-dependent theory of optical transmission through a subwavelength slit in a thick metal screen is derived. The theory agrees well with recent experiments and it predicts a strong angle dependence for large angles not explored previously.
