Abstract

We demonstrate a high-bite-rate optical signal transmissions of long range surface plasmon polariton (LRSPP) waves in a guided geometry. It is implemented with a 10 Gbps optical communication system where eye patterns and bite error rates (BER) are measured for estimating the transmission properties of the LRSPP mode.
