High energy optical parametric amplifier pumped by 400nm picosecond Ti:sapphire laser

Abstract

We present a picosecond optical parametric amplifier pumped by a 360mJ frequency-doubled Ti: sapphire laser at 60ps duration. Tunable signal wavelength from 460 nm to 750 nm was realized, maximum output energy up to 30 mJ.
