Abstract

Effect of laser linewidth on millimeter-wave Radio-over-Fiber system employing optical frequency multiplying technology is presented. By quantitative analysis, it is revealed that Mach-Zehnder interferometer as optical periodic filter has more ability than Fabry-Perot interferometer against the effect of laser linewidth.
