Abstract

Previous studies made efforts to enhance the contrast of laser speckle images using some kinds of mathematical and physics methods. In this paper, we suggest a new method to enhance the contrast of laser speckle images using an optical clearing agent (OCA), glycerol. The OCAs are topically applied on skin sample and speckle images were obtained at 1 hour after glycerol application. In result, we observed enhanced contrast in laser speckle images.
