Abstract
New interface-selective second- (χ(2)) and fourth-order (χ(4)) nonlinear spectroscopies were developed. The χ(2) electronic sum frequency generation spectroscopy provides precise interfacial electronic spectra. Vibrational spectra of buried interfaces are acquired in the whole fingerprint region by the χ(4) Raman spectroscopy.
