Abstract

We present an electro-absorption duplexer (EAD) for RF-to-optic (vise versa) conversion at 60 GHz. The device was monolithically integrated with a modulator and a photo-detector. Its performance was characterized optically as well as electrically. We also propose a transceiver module with the system-on-packaging (SOP) composed of optic and RF devices.
