Time-domain differential detection using photorefractive two-wave mixing in phase-only holographic data storage system

Abstract

We propose a new method for detection of phase-modulated signals that provides higher energy efficiency detection and simplified alignments of position and intensity between interference images. By using time-domain differential detection with 2x over sampling, phase-modulated signals can be exactly distinguished.
