Abstract

We fabricated 1-D diffraction grating on the end surface of cleaved hollow optical fibers with a direct inscribing method using femtosecond laser pulses, and measured the beam shape patterns in near and far fields. We confirmed near and far fields beam patterns generated by diffraction grating and ring shaped core.
