Abstract

The operating principle and structure of Free Space Optical Communication system are introduced. The system's duplex communication tests showed the data transmission speed rate can reach 2Gbps, error rate less than 10E-10, signal-to-noise ratio greater than 9 with the attenuation coefficient of -15dB/km and the transmission length of 1200m.
