Abstract

Degenerate four-wave mixing (DFWM) spectra of CuCl thin films with high crystalline quality have been observed. Our theoretical analysis elucidates that the observed response time of DFWM around lOOfs reflects the giant radiative width of the non-dipole type excitonic states confined in a thin film.
