Design of a many-atom cavity QED system for the efficient two-photon nonlinearity

Abstract

We propose a new scheme to avoid the declination of the two-photon nonlinearity (TPN) caused by effects of many degrees of freedom. We found two criterions for obtaining the efficient TPN by many three-level atoms in a cavity and estimated the optimized TPN.
