Abstract

We demonstrate the idler generation based on degenerated Four-Wave Mixing assisted by Raman amplification in highly nonlinear fiber. The pump source is internally created using a ring oscillation in the Raman cavity laser. The wavelength conversion efficiency is greater than unity within 19.5 nm wavelength range around the pump source.
