Abstract

We have fabricated a broadband long period grating (LPG) on hollow optical fiber (HOF) by using femtosecond laser pulses of 785.5 nm. The filter showed a low insertion loss of 1.7 dB. coupling strength more than 8 dB, and very broad full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 160 nm.
