Abstract

Stable excitation discharge in a TEA gas laser is obtained with an equivalent repetition rate of 17 kHz in a double pulse mode employing a supersonic flow. Based on the experimental results, a formula for estimating the maximum repetition rate in a supersonic flow is proposed.
