A simple laser confocal microscope with improved spatial resolution

Abstract

We describe a relatively simple construction of a sample-scanning laser confocal microscope without the need of the custom-made control electronics. And we modified the input laser beam into radially polarized light and achieved the lateral resolution of 130 nm.
