Abstract

We demonstrate a rational harmonic mode-locked short-cavity laser employing a bismuth-oxide-based erbium-doped fiber and a bismuth-oxide-based highly nonlinear fiber. Stable short pulses up to 40GHz are obtained over the wavelength tuning range covering the CL-band.
