Abstract
We theoretically study the properties of the waveguide integrated plasmonic nano-antennas. The device consists of a plasmonic nano-antenna coupled to a slot waveguide. We show that the proposed device can be used to enhance the spontaneous emission rate from an emitter by three orders of magnitude. Moreover, we demonstrate that the plasmonic nano-antenna efficiently couples to the dielectric waveguide. Finally, it is possible to efficiently deliver the excitation by use of the proposed device.
